What Deskie Collects

Deskie does not collect personal data.

  • No accounts
  • No sign-ups
  • No analytics
  • No tracking cookies
  • No ads
  • No third-party trackers

If you use Deskie without sharing anything, nothing leaves your device.

Photos and Content You Add

  • Any photos you upload are stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API.
  • Photos are not uploaded, not synced, and not sent to any server.
  • Deskie cannot see, access, or retrieve your photos.

How Your Data Is Stored

Deskie stores the following locally on your browser:

  • Positions of frames and decorative items
  • Visibility settings
  • Photos you choose to upload
  • Layout preferences

This data stays on your device and is removed if you uninstall the extension.

Third-Party Services

Deskie does not use third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising services.

The extension is distributed via the Chrome Web Store, which may collect its own usage data under Google's policies. Deskie does not control or access that data.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
